Power Emissions Certificates (PECs)
PECs are Emissions-Enhanced hourly RECs designed to convey ownership of all attributes of Carbon Free Energy (CFE). They provide an accurate and standardized market instrument for energy buyers to enable any procurement strategy.

PEC Methodology

Comply with existing timestamping standards such as EnergyTag to issue GCs.

Maintain a robust methodology that combines these GCs with marginal carbon impact.

Publication of the PEC Storage Methodology

Provide guidelines on issuing PECs to energy storage projects to include utility batteries and other storage technologies to participate in corporate procurement and carbon accounting.
